Town of Banff: Solar Incentive Program:
- Banff offers solar PV rebates to promote renewable electricity, funded by the environmental reserve.
- $750 per kilowatt (kW) installed, up to 20 kW, for residential and commercial properties.
- Applicants are encouraged to contact the Town for a preliminary review of their project prior to submitting a Development Permit application.
Town of Canmore: Solar Incentive Program:
- Financial incentive of up to $1,250 for residential properties in Canmore, regardless of system size.
City of Medicine Hat - Smart Existing Homes Incentive:
- Rebate of up to $5000 designed to assist property owners with the cost of energy saving retrofits
- Requires pre-retrofit EnerGuide Home Evaluation.
